Mommy day

Slept till 630 pm ,
went karaoke with parents.. My mom can really sing. she sang all those songs by ah mei with no problems she also surprised by singing superstar from SHE. the best part was when she sang those songs by Dao Lang. i must have gotten the genes from my dad cos he cannot sing too. heehee. My mom voice is so power then she made the karaoke system hanged ok! the Winxp system ran into a device error in midst of a Teresa Ting song, It was her 10 year death anniversay yesterday as well.. My dad keep saying 'she' dun like u to sing her song. LOL

Went Kovan for supper/dinner.

There is a new Dim sum place at kovan near the chong pang nasi lemak side. decent food, the hakka young tau foo is actually fried tau foo with speical sauce, very nice.

may 9 is acutally my Dad BD + wedding anniversary. they have been together 32 years liao and yet still so loving despite all the problems they went thru.

I think the future is so uncertain, i would never commit myself to marriage and facing the burden of raising a child if i have not reach a certain lvl of financal success.

2ppl spend a major part of their lifes to bring 1 person. in turn the pressure is on the1 person to support the other 2 for the rest of life with 1 salary...

3ppl = 4.5k when 1 retire
the next one will have to earn 3k and the other 1.5k
when both retire , the one will have to earn 4.5k

The day is not too far away and is looming over the horizon. I may not be able to earn as much but i would never never let them down.

Sat bowling + meet up with old friend

Went bowling with L n S, was great to have 2 young and pretty ladies (ok lar one very young and one not so young) to accompany me to walk walk around and to bowl :P seems like i improve slightly! need more practice! L injured her fingers from bowling acks!

I was suppose to meet up with C for dinner at bugis and i was running late, wanted to take a cab but the 2 pretty ladies stopped me, and made me postone my appointment for the honor and pleasure of walking with them to bugis.

Met C. wow. she is really coming into her prime now, she look absolutely hot! and i mean hot!! she's so beautiful now and so confident of herself, she had to drag me go shopping. we had dinner at plaza sing cafe cartel and we chatted, she got attached after a 1 year hiatus from relationships, i met her current bf once and i think he is a really eligible husband type. I really wish them well. i suspect that the next time i meet up with her, it would be to collect a champange covered enveloped 'bomb'!

we talked for a long while and i realise she is also so much smarter now.. (or i become so much stupider) she pointed out things in my life that i did not see or rather everyone's been telling me the problem and the solutions but she alone was able to point out the cause of it. For that i am able to understand myself better and untie some of the knots in my mind. I can the gap between her world and mine. It's like another lvl of life many cuts above mine.

some day i would be able to be there in life. If i want to . If i choose to . my life my way . never going to run in a race where others have already reach the finishing line.

C is truly well shopped. she stepped into a boutique and the shop attendants greet her by name, and show her the latest stuff. etc etc can remember what she asked for couple of months back.
and she can remember the names of the staff from different outlets of the same shop .

After shopping, we sat at mos for drinks , took photos and chatted again, again i was struck by how much she have changed, it's like she transform into this super friendly and bubbly creature that everyone is her friend. as another of my friend put it as, "very air stewardess-ish" , always seeking to put u at comfort.

my mind has been churning with the things she said about me. and i was tired needed a place to be alone. i walked from PS to Parklane (where else? haha)

got my copy of guildwar from bas and went home to play...

Fri night fever!
Went clubbing with friends.
stepped in newsroom bar once again, it was different from last fri, it was crowded packed and unfriendly. U can be inside here and don't exist , no one cares no one bothers if ur pants drop.
The crowd is old.. (my age or older) I have a old buddy from Poly that comes here 4 times a week, was looking for her but can't find her.. I saw her dancing at the stage and we met up, (he HP low batt). She looks so much better now i think she lost 20kg++ since i last met her.
The drinks at newsroom sucks. volka sprite - the volka. i dance with my 2 friends, for the whole of 5 secs, then P said " this place too old for me lar, Gers here too old!" other quotes from P " my sister ask me why i go to her hangout places" ( her sis is around my age i think, me old liao) we are 6 years apart in age..

Thus we went dbl-O. (after paying $15 for nb entrance, $20 for dbl-o)

Age seems to have crept up with me , while dancing to the tunes at nb i did not realize that the music was too slow until we dance at the loud loud music at Dbl-O , the drinks here also stronger and was able to give me a kick to start dancing.

The everyone's younger here , youth is the greatest cosmetics that a person can have, u look better when u are young.

There was 2 ladies and a guy dancing next to us, and they were pretty close. once was in white dress and the other in a green top and jeans. The ger in white had a very nice figure and hair, while the girl in green had a very sexy way of dancing. The place was not pack. but they keep moving closer.. was thinking is it because of E? hee even my friend in nb say E very cute looking. luckily for the gers out there E is a very nice guy, he good tempered and Attached! :P

We danced till we are tired and went back to nb.

the music has improved to retro but still too slow but there was a row of sexily spaghetti clad ladies shaking their boobies to the music i was mesmerised until 5 mins later a spot light came on and show all their faces. The disco lights and dim lights certainly makes everyone look better..

We left again to Dbl-O and played snooker for a while, E is much better player then me or R. went back to dance for last 45 mins to the beat of 50 cent , linkin park and evanescence. was more of a chilling out dance then anything else. found a bench by the dance floor and we all stoned there for a while.

After that we walked from mhd sultan to checkers at tanjong pagar, Checkers is once again open! my favorite midnight restaurant. we can order without looking at the menu now :P Maryland fried chicken is the best!

reached home at 5 am...

I was at newsroom 3week apr sat,
Sad lonly place, went in sit down, drink and get out..
wanderer around partyworld Kbox etc
we were like waifs looking for someplace to go. no movies no ktv (too ex ) not prepared.

went karaoke recently , found that i like singing despite having a horrible voice.
was at the ONE at tanjong pagar there last friday. nice place due to the fact it's cheap $55 for 3 hrs for spending , the spicy drumlets is good :) dun try the satay!

went to Kbox on Sunday sang from 7-2am .
